TCAP Time is Here!
TCAP testing will begin on Monday, April 23.
The testing schedule will be as follows:
Monday: Reading and Language Arts
Wear red because we are “red-y for TCAP”!
Tuesday: Math
Wear orange and white because “it’s TCAP time in TN”!
Wednesday: Science
Wear camouflage because we are “on the hunt for good TCAP scores”!
Thursday: Social Studies
Wear Hawaiian clothing because “we are surfing through TCAP”!
It is very important that each student get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive on time each morning.

Spring Pictures
Individual spring pictures will be taken at school this Friday 3/30. The background used will be an “outdoor theme”. Pictures will be taken from the waist up.

Valentine’s Party
Our Valentine’s party will be held on Tuesday, February 14 at 2:00. Students may decorate a box for their valentines at home, or I will give them a white sack that they may decorate and use. All students should prepare valentines to pass out to their classmates at the party. A class list was printed on the back of this week’s Weekly Sheet. If anyone would be willing to donate a box of valentines for students who cannot purchase their own, please send this in by next Monday. Thank you!

Thanks to all who donated items for our “Titans” silent auction basket. Our basket raised $225 for our classroom. I recently ordered a complete set of Language Arts “Hot Dots” cards and a set of “Hot Dot” pens for the students to use in class as they finish their classwork. These are a fun way for students to review the grammar skills we are learning this year. Thanks again for your support of Coles Ferry Elementary and our class!
