HIGH FREQUENCY SIGHT WORDS - This nine weeks we will be concentrating on the Pre-Primer Sight Word list, Color words and number words 0- 20 for the report card. Each Thursday students will be assessed on a group of these words. Please remember to vary the order of the words so the list is not memorized. The ability to read sight words is a big step towards life-long independent reading! It encourages the children as they look at a book and see words they know! To them, it feels like reading….and they are! I recommend making flash cards to practice daily -
