Coles Ferry Elementary

Fun Day will be Monday please remember to bring a towel, sunscreen, & a clean change of clothes.

Remember to wear a Coles Ferry, red, or yellow shirt for our trip to the park. Don’t forget to put sun screen and bug spray on before you come to school.

Friday we will have our Walk to the Park trip. The students will be walking from school to the Don Fox Park. Please remind your child to wear a Coles Ferry shirt and comfortable shoes. If your child needs sunscreen or bug spray please take care of that before they come to school. We will leave for the park at 11:30 and return to school around 2:30.

The students have worked so hard over the past few weeks preparing for and taking TCAP. The remainder of the school year we will work to fine tune our skills and be as ready as we can be for the fourth grade. Students will be continuing their daily activities and will be held accountable for classwork and homework.

A big thank you to all my parents that had their children well rested and at school each day for TCAP! Thank you to those who sent in snacks and drinks it was a big help and I have enough for a treat when we return from our walking trip to the park. We will be having a well deserved break from work this afternoon, but Monday morning it will be back to work again getting ready for the big move to fourth grade. The coming weeks will be filed with many exciting activities and adventures. I look forward to a great rest of the year.

Let’s Get Ready to BUBBLE!

 To get everyone pumped up and excited about TCAP our class is going to have special dress-up days on each day of TCAP.

Friday: Hat Day because we need to put our ‘Thinking Caps” on and get ready for TCAP!

Monday: Wear Red because we are “REDy” for TCAP!

Tuesday: Orange and White because it’s “TCAP Time in Tennessee!”

Wednesday: Camouflage day so we “HUNT” out the right answers on TCAP! (hats that are worn will be taken off during testing)

 Thursday: Hawaiian Day because we are “SURFING” through TCAP! (Lei’s, sunglasses, and hats will be put away during testing)

Friday: Superhero Day because we did a “SUPER” job on TCAP!
